Flora (aka Dora) was rescued by her previous owner from a Facebook selling page. Flora, only 6 months and yet to spayed was in danger of falling into the wrong hands. She was taken in, spayed, loved and cared for until a forever home for her could be found.
That home came from Kate and her family, here’s what Kate had to say about her rehoming experience.
‘Contemplating a second dog was not an easy decision. I saw 'Dora' on Doodle Aid website and just knew she was the right dog to join us. We already had one 'doodle' Ted and made the decision to apply for Dora.
The process was made easy by the kind staff and within days we had our home visit. We found out within in week we had her and went to Bristol to collect her. Doodle Aid staff have remained in contact and were extremely supportive during the process. Dora - now Flora is such a sweet dog, she adapted immediately. Without doubt she needed stimulation so we took her to agility classes as she is like a little kangaroo! Her first-time swimming was fantastic to see and her first beach trip was amazing. Thank you DoodleAid for choosing us, supporting us and being enthusiastic and kind throughout the adoption process’
Thanks to Kate and her family for giving Flora the loving home she deserves.
