Maple truly is a poppet, adores being around humans, loves cuddles and attention.
Maple was purchased during lock down, we suggest she would benefit with some extra training and more socialising.
She isn’t happy as yet to go into public houses or cafes, in time with training this should improve with time and patience.
This lovely lady is looking for a forever home due to a relationship breakdown. At present she is spending time between both parties homes, which can be confusing for any dog. Both parties love her dearly and just want her to be settled into a routine in a steady home.
Maple adores human company, is very loving and enjoys the attention.
Maple needs a home where persons are at home and are willing to put in some training with her.
We will consider rehoming her with one other medium sized dog, but you must be prepared for as many visits as needed. No cats.
Can live with children aged 12 and over.
Must have a safe and secure garden, if you have gates they must have a lock.
Maple is walked for approximately 40 to 60 minutes per day.
She does go off lead depending on how many children and dogs are in the area, if too crowed she may get nervous.
Her recall is fair, we do not recommend newly rescued dogs off lead unless you have complete trust in one another.
Maple is walked on a front connecting harness, owners found she does not pull by using this system.
Her general obedience is good, did attend dog training classes in the past we are told.
Maple is fine around dogs she knows but can be uncertain around some dogs, more so bigger dogs than herself.
She has spent her time with different dogs including a Boxer who is owned by a family member.
Likes: Playing ball especially fetch
Dislikes: Being moved off beds, sofas, etc. People appearing suddenly and disturbing her whilst sleeping.
