Luna has a wavy coat, sheds minimally as all dogs shed some amount.
She is brushed at home weekly, not overly keen but endures the process.
Groomed at a professional groomers without any issues every 3 months approximately.
Luna is a pocket rocket full of mischief, highly alert and comes with bags of energy.
LUNA IS NOT SUITABLE FOR A FIRST TIME DOG OWNER. Luna needs a home with people whom are energetic/active and who are experienced around dogs with some behavioural issues and willing to guide Luna for the future. Dog free home only. No cats. We will consider a home with older dog savvy children aged 13 and above due to some resource guarding and Luna is still very bouncy.
We are happy to place Luna in a home with a behaviourist support with some sessions to help the new owners going forward if required. You must be prepared to all work together, team work is dream work!
Little Luna is looking for persons or person with experience to help with her social skills, and management with resource guarding.
Sadly Luna has found herself in a environment whereby her owner is struggling with their own health battles as well as living with a Son with learning issues who does not understand Luna’s body language. This is having profound effect on all involved in the household, especially Luna.
Luna spends a good portion of time in her crate, during the day and at night.
She has not had regular exercise since July for many reasons including being nervous around traffic and owners health issues as stated previously.
They have come to the hard decision that Luna needs far more than they can give her and want to do the best for everyone involved.
Luna is still only a very young dog, full of life and vigor, just needs some tweaking and guidance to help her in the big wide world.
Will resource various items she should not have, mostly floopy items such as clothes, towels etc. Luna thinks this is a great game but recently has shown her teeth and growled when she had an item that could have been toxic if swallowed. They are managing this more by swapping with cheese and tasty treats but it’s hard with the Son in the home as he does not always see the cue’s. NOTE she does not guard her own toys or her food.
Whilst out on her walks she pulls and barks at some dogs and hates traffic (this would need some gentle TLC to address this in her new home). Luna is an anxious little girl lacking in social skills, she needs more time spent with her giving her attention, more exercise and stimulation, along with rest time. We believe in the right environment with people willing to train her further with time, love and patience she will bloom into a wonderful four legged friend.
Mainly in home & garden as owner is no longer physically able to walk her. This is starting to affect her behaviour & is their main reason for considering rehoming as it is just not fair on her.
Luna does not go off her lead when being walked, she is scared of traffic, can bark at other dogs and pulls on her lead. They do not allow her off lead as if she ran off, they could not physically chase her due to ill health.
Likes: Spiky balls, balls, her stick toy, rope toys (but quickly destroys them), chew toys

Luna did attend puppy and junior training school, she did very well and was top of her class. Sadly with home issues they could not continue with her training.
Her general obedience is fair could do with more support in her new home.
Luna is a happy, fun loving, very affectionate girl, just sadly she is missing out on a few things in her life, with these in place she will gain trust and confidence we are sure.
Time, love and patience, more exercise and stimulation is the key to Luna being a super star in the future.
Remember she is only a very young dog with the rest of her life ahead of her.
She is toilet trained but accidents can occur with any dog entering into a new environment.
Luna is crate trained and spends a lot of time in her crate (which we would love to see less of please).
Non destructive in home but will look for paper and cardboard to pinch and rip up.
With car travel she has only been in the car a maximum of half an hour, fine once settled in her harness.
Dislikes or scared of most things as not been exposed to very much in the world, she needs a special person or persons to help her to say it’s ok little one.
She likes the rain never been swimming.

Luna is allergic to a Flea /tick treatment/wormer. Netgard disagrees with Luna, she started shaking after administered, vet popped her on steroids for a short period to resolve issue. Not used this item since and no reoccurring issues.
Owner had one issue about 11 months ago, after she had been given wormer, flea treatment etc at same vet visit. Luna had tremors - described by vet as shaker syndrome. Treated with steroids. After that we started her on the rescue remedy treats & have had no issues since. Also have not given her wormer or flea treatment since.
