Dizzy has a soft wavy coat,only sheds minimally as all dogs shed some amount.
She attends a dog groomers every 8 to 8 weeks,her dog groomer is very understanding knowing that Dizzy can be a nervous girl.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FOSTER HOME FOR DIZZY ,WITH A VIEW TO ADOPT
Looking for some very special foster folk ,to commit to caring for Dizzy ,with the chance of potenially adopting her in the future

We would expect the fosters to travel and carry out several meet and greets ( this is to get Dizzy aquianted with you )
Dizzy is a much loved family member ,and its been a very hard decision for the family to make,but they feel Dizzy needs more than they can give her.With difficult working hours,and a growing young family,Dizzy needs extra support with a few aspects of training,some adjustments here and there.
Dizzy was attacked by a large breed dog back in December 2025. Family were out walking with their baby ,and the dog came over to them in a lead only park. They were on lead and the owner of the other dog could not control it.Dizzy's owner was bitten by the large breed dog,and they ultimately believe this was the start of Dizzy's anxiety ,and general behaviour shift. Dizzy was not injured but believe this has had a huge impact on her and her family.
Dizzy is a very very affectionate girl,but this incident may of set her confidence back.
This whole situation has made her unsettled ,needing more attention and reassurance at all times.
She can bark at other dogs whilst on her lead ,as if she is trying to protect her family,off her lead she is playful and inquisitive
Dizzy has never been aggressive ,or bitten but she has turned into a nervous dog after this incident,can be vocal around other dogs ,her recall needs more attention.She also known to have some amount of prey drive,if she see's a deer ,she may run after it for example.
Doodle Aid's Requirements
We love to find Dizzy a foster home ,with a view to adopt this is very important ,as we do not wish to move her again
Her fosters will need to be committed in helping her confidence and trust ,as she is needing some support and craves attention
(Doodle Aid will always provide support ,to both the fosters and Dizzy ,with a Dog Behaviourist ,as and when needed)
Dizzy has never lived with men ,and has not been around men very much.We believe she can live in a home with a man,but may need some very gentle guidance ,be soft & gentle and treats at hand,no forcing her ,slowly slowly approach let her come to you first
No full time workers ,if you work from home we will of course consider you.Dizzy needs company until such times she is settled
We will not rehome Dizzy with another dog,the attention now needs to be with her. ( Dizzy does live with another dog ,but does not give him any rest,mounts him,she wants to play and craves his full attention,will also protects him out on walks)
Children aged 10 and over whom are dog savvy
Dizzy does live with children,but would prefer a quiet home with less activity within the household

Exercise
Dizzy has two good walks per day.
Since the baby was born, her recall and prey drive has significantly changed. She used to be very obedient and not venture to far. Now her owners have gone back to long training leads and high value treats.
Her recall unpredictable , she does understand,however her prey drive is high. She also loves to run off if she see another dog- distracted very easily.Her family have also recently introduced a whistle to try and improve this back to what it was previously. Dizzy will pull on her lead,she tries to get ahead of the family and is very eager to be off lead. ( Doodle Aid will help with the aid of a behaviourist to help with these issues)
Loving, cuddly, very friendly. A big cuddly lap dog!! ,craves attention
She is excited by anyone who walks through the door
Dizzy is toilet trained,but as we state on all adverts,accidents can happen whilst any dog settles into a new home
Dizzy sleeps downstairs at night ( we woukd advise whilst in a fister home,you allow Dizzy to settle in the same room as you,to give her support)
Dizzy has a crate its left open,so she can take herself off to chill at any given time
Never been destructive in her home
Can be left a few hours per day ,if you have appointments etc
Dizzy loves the water,sure she be a very happy girl,if you live by the seaside
Car travel ,travels fine no sickness,can be vocal,likes to see out of the car windows
Likes :- Dizzy loves playing fetch but does not bring it back!
And loves indoor puzzle games. Every toy she has ever had has been destroyed within seconds!
She loves carrots, sits like eeyore and will eat off a spoon like a human!
Quirks :- She is scared of getting her harness on but once it’s on will race to the front door
No fears but does like to get into the bins and is reactive to other dogs barking!!

For the first year of her life dizzy struggled to gain weight ,and had a consistent bad tummy. When we found pure pet food this changed and she has thrived ever since.
Dizzy found a cob of sweet corn and digested it,had to be taken to the vets ,no further treatment was required
