Noodle has a beautiful well looked after coat,sheds minimally,as all dogs shed some amount
He has a course curly coat ,which is groom regularly by a Professional Groomer every 7 to 8 weeks
Noodle is good with being brushed and bathed at home,inbetween his full grooms.

Looking for some very special foster folk to commit to looking after Noodle, with the chance potentially to adopt him in the future

We would expect the fosters ,to travel and carry out several meet and greets ( this is to get Noodle acquainted with you )
Noodle is dearly loved by his current owners but, with a growing family, Noodle is not coping well. Noodle would love a quiet home without any small children in the home or visiting.Its not been an easy decision for the family and we need to find Noodle a home where he is adored as much as he is now.
Where he can live his life stress free ,and not worry about little ones being in his home.
Doodle Aid's Requirements
Noodle would love a home which is calm ,as he is a nervous little dog, with fit and active people ,whom can give him all the love and attention he requires
He can be a little nervous around men, but will adapt given time
Would love to spend his time with a similar sized dog, he prefers female dogs
We may consider a home with children over 12,no visiting babies or toddlers.Noodle dislikes noise and babies crying scare him.
If you are fostering with a view to adopt in the future, and planning on have children at some stage,Noodle would not be suitable to be rehomed to you,sorry

Exercise
Noodle is happy to have regular walks ,but does not mind to skip a weekly walk.Noodle does not go off lead, being a nervous dog - something could spook him and he would run away
This is something we would like his foster to work on, perhaps with the aid of a Dog Specialist if required.
Noodle sometimes may pull on his lead.He gets spooked by mobility scooters, he can bark at male dogs if they bark at him first, but will soon calm down.

He is very cuddly, very very snuggly and will curl up on your lap like a lap dog. He likes a sofa, a soft corner. He’s gentle and soft with elderly and adults, he doesn’t jump up. He’s very sweet natured just nervous ,and not a fan of babies or toddlers,will get scared and bark at them
Noodle is very intelligent ,easy to train and is motivated by food
Noodle is toilet trained ,but any dog may have accident,whilst settling in a new home
Can be left a few hours on his own,he lives with another dog and they keep each company
Never been destructive in his home
Travels well in the car
Noodle is crate trained ,and will happily sleep in tbere at night
Favourite items :- Ball, soft plushy toys, any toys , rustly toys
He is fine with fireworks. He barks at the door going, barks at people walking along the back of the house ,but will be quiet when told to stop
Note from Noodle's owner
His owner feels he would settle quicker in a home with another dog ,especially a female small breed like what he is used to, if possible. He gains confidence around other dogs. He really needs to be placed in a home where they are not going to be having children one day. And one that can give him the cuddles he needs to feel safe and comforted. He may attach himself to one person in the family, he’s very loyal,loves all the attention and he is a lap dog

The potential applicant we will ask for a full homecheck ,and vetting before any fostering takes place
Whilst Noodle is in foster care,Doodle Aid will supply food, any vet treatments and if he needs a groom ,we will happily find a fully qualified dog groomer ,we also would be happy to seek a dog behaviourist if required.
Noodle has previously had waxy build up in his ears ,and needed ear drops and has to have his ears cleaned regularly. Suspected allergy to salmon/salmon oil in diet
