How Fostering a Doodle Works

Fostering a doodle involves providing a temporary home, which includes daily care such as:

  • Feeding Walking
  • Working alongside a dog trainer or behaviourist when required
  • Travelling to appointments such as vets and groomers
  • Most importantly, providing companionship

The process typically begins with an application and a home check. DoodleAid provides support, including:

  • Food
  • A full health check by a veterinarian
  • Guidance to help prepare the doodle for adoption

Fostering is a temporary commitment to help a doodle in need. Our ultimate goal is to find the dog a permanent "forever home", whether that is with the foster who has cared for the doodle or with another home we feel is the best match for the individual dog in our care.
