How can you help

Could you assist with the homing process by becoming a volunteer home checking homes for doodles due to be re-homed?

This is a key role to make sure no dog is left too long without a permanent home. The role involves communication with potential homes (by phone mostly) to arrange and attend home checks. You should be comfortable being able to assess a house for its suitability for a dog, and you will be provided with a checklist and form to complete. You’ll need to be happy showing and asking for identification, and you will need to take photos to check, for instance, fence heights and entrance/exit safety.

We ask that you always act in an appropriate and friendly manner as a representative of DoodleAid. You’ll be reimbursed for your travel at 25p per mile.
