Brewster : Ready for Adoption

Please Read The Following Information Fully Before Applying To Adopt

Location Fife in Scotland ,Post Code area KY11 (Note you will be expected to travel for as many meet and greets as necessary )

Brewster is looking for his forever home due to personal circumstances within his family.

He is very much loved by his owners ,they feel he needs to be with person or person that are at home with him ,to give him more than they can at present.

Important :- Brewster suffers with separation anxiety this means he cannot at present be left for any periods of time.

He will get very anxious and barks if he is left home alone.

Their next door neighbours are not dealing with Brewster barking.

His owners have been working on his behaviour, but this behaviour is not an instant fix.

There are a few books that might be of interest for his potential owners

Firstly a puppy guide to separation anxiety https://www.wob.com/en-gb/books/julie-naismith/be-right-back-puppy-separation-anxiety-edition/9781999296629?cq_src=google_ads&cq_cmp=19553276147&cq_con=&cq_med=pla&cq_plac=&cq_net=x&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADZzAIBGzHPDVCLmhbtnaiJxR0Z4F&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIu7bI8pz0hAMVT5NQBh2J3gDTEAQYASABEgI4rvD_BwE#GOR011944501

Then another book that might be useful

We will only rehome Brewster with people that are at home all day ,they need to be willing to build his confidence up slowly ,with management being left for very short periods to start with, and build this up very slowly gaining his ability to be left seconds, minutes then progress bit by bit.

He is brushed daily to prevent matting and does not object to being groomed.

Brewster is used to being groomed and has a full groom every 8 weeks.

Exercise

Brewster has three lovely walks per day.

His recall is good,we advise no new owners should let any rescue dogs off lead ,until they have complete trust with one another.

Brewster may pull on his lead on occasion, loose lead training should be continued.

Whilst out on walks Brewster interacts with dogs very well,he seems to pick up on dogs that dog not want his presence. If a dog warns him he will just move long and carry on with his walk.

He likes activities and attends flyball classes, with his owners.

Further Information

Brewster is still only a puppy will need reassurance, some training but most of all people willing to help him through his separation anxiety.

Whoever is lucky enough to become his owners ,will need to be energetic as Spoodle’s are a very active crossbreed.

He is a sweet happy puppy, who loves human attention, and loves his cuddles

Brewster has never shown any aggression and has never bitten.

Loves to learn ,& he picks up commands very quickly can sit, down, leave, stay, give paw and go to bed.
