The potential applicant ,will be required to travel to do several meet and greets.

Ruby is looking for a new home due her owners change of working hours.

It’s been a very hard decision for them, it’s unfair on Ruby to be left and they feel she needs a home which can provide with all her needs.

Can live with one other dog similar size (if male he has to have been neutered)

Children over the age of 7 only who are dog savvy

No cats

No full time workers

Experienced dog owners who are willing to put in time to socialise and train Ruby

Must have a safe and secure garden ,not communal

Grooming Requirements

Ruby has a wavy coat,only minimally sheds ,all dogs shed some amount.

She dislikes to be brushed,some positive reward based training would be beneficial to make this experience easier.

Has growled at her owner whilst she was trying brush her,it was a warning growl nothing further.

Attends a professional groomers every 8 weeks without any incidents known to us

Exercise

Ruby is taken out for a walk twice daily,she really enjoys being outdoors.

Her recall will need some working on in a safe and secure area.

We do not advise any new owners of rescue dogs ,to let them off lead until their recall is good.

Ruby does pull on her lead,working on loose lead training will help improve this matter.

Whilst out Rubys does enjoy being around other dogs.

General Information

Ruby is a fun loving,bouncy full of life character,loves attention and loves to play.

She is toilet trained but with any new dog coming into a strange environment,please always expect the unexpected.

Ruby sleeps in the kitchen in her bed

When she was a very young puppy she chewed a piece on the door

Ruby is not crate trained

She travels in her crate in the car

Ruby loves to run in the water ,never been swimming

Her favourite toys are tug toys

Ruby is a very young dog,and loves human company.

She needs an active home with people willing to put the time in to train her and be with her throughout the day.

As stated her owners work commitments have changed ,as a responsible charity we like to find her a home where someone is at home most the day.

All potential applications will be subjected to a full homecheck.
